Mary Comfort offers clients a wealth of experience on environmental issues. During her six years at the N.J. Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Ms. Comfort served as Special Assistant to the Commissioner and reported directly to Commissioner Brad Campbell and later to Commissioner Lisa Jackson, President Barack Obama’s Environmental Protection Agency (DPA) Administrator. In her position at DEP, Mary worked first hand on a wide spectrum of issues, and was instrumental in the collaboration of decision making at the Department.

Because of her experience at NJDEP, Mary gained valuable knowledge about how to manage property development the right way -- in compliance with environmental regulations and statutes. Mary has worked closely with those involved in the day-to-day administration at the department. With her expertise Mary will guide you through land-use management, site remediation, compliance, water supply issues, air permitting and the Green Acres program.
